If Carlsberg did Olympic Houses, they’d do them like Heineken!
The Dutch do things well. They are they masters of Total Football. When it’s Queen’s Day, they take over one of London’s most iconic destinations Trafalgar Square to host their national celebrations. Now with the Olympics less than 100 days away, they’ve teamed up with Heineken to launch what will be one of the places to be this summer – Holland Heineken House.
Below is a first virtual glimpse of the official national house of Netherlands Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF) during London 2012. Heineken are not messing about as they will be transforming the colossus venue, Alexandra Palace, colloquially known as ‘Ally Pally’ into the famous Holland Heineken House for Games-time.
The launch of the virtual tour reveals a venue interior which focuses on an exciting ‘This Must be Holland‘ decorative concept seen throughout the design of the House. The overall look and feel illustrates a fusion of typically British characteristics with an orange twist, the national colour of the Netherlands. Enjoy
