Leila TCellar Door salutes you

For International Women’s Day, we are celebrating seven badass women we know well or watch from afar, who we believe act as an inspiration through their words AND actions. Do-ers not talkers.

Since 2006, Leila through her work at Daytrippers has led the way in helping to change the lives of terminally ill children and young people throughout the UK. Daytrippers does this by funding days out and organising bespoke inclusive events. Their aim is to ensure children and young people have the opportunity to enjoy themselves, improve their confidence and break boundaries through social, recreational and educational activities. This is achieved through building strong and lasting relationships whilst ensuring quality and delivering rewarding experiences. Although now a trustee, she still can’t help but inject a bit of creativity into the events program to ensure enjoyment for all children the programme touches.
